Using El Dapper

Before You Start

You should have successfully installed the Encipher InfinityVAULT Demonstration Environment.

Usage

Logging In

Click the following link to open El Dapper in your default browser: El Dapper Login.

Enter the default Username: admin and the default Password: password

Click the Log In button button to login.

Note:

You may see a warning from your browser about this username/password combination being found in a data breach. You may ignore this for now or change the admin password if you would like to resolve this warning.

You should now be on the El Dapper Home page.

Navigation is accomplished using the various tabs located on the top of the page and consisting of the following options:

  • Home (returns you to the home page)
  • Users (allows you to manage Users)
  • Groups (allows you to manage Groups and Organizational Units, and User Membership)
  • Snapshots (allows you to manage backups and restore)

  • Profile (allows you to view the profile for the currently logged in user and change the password)

  • Logout (Logs you out of El Dapper)

Statistics Dashboard

The remainder of the Home page shows some basic statistics including the current number of LDAP Organizational Units, Groups, Admin Users, Total Users, and the number and type of Snapshots currently in this LDAP instance.
